Allergen Policy

We take every customers needs seriously. If you have any allergies or your gift recipient does, please contact us and we will always take this into account. 

Every one of our recipes is available should you want to take a deeper dive into our ingredients.  

Our kitchen is a home based facility, however, we wash down and disinfect between every process. We also change our outfits (who doesn't love an outfit change!), and use different utensils for recipes that have an allergen content.

Food Hygiene Rating 

The scheme helps customers choose where to eat out or shop for food by providing clear information about the businesses’ hygiene standards. The scheme gives businesses a rating from 5 (hygiene standards are very good) to 0 (urgent improvement is required). Our inspection was 23rd October 2024. Our rating is a 5 which is the highest you can achieve, with zero points and zero advisories.

Food Allergen Awareness

We prioritise food allergen awareness to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all our customers. Understanding food hypersensitivities is crucial, as even trace amounts of allergens can trigger severe reactions. We provide accurate and reliable allergen information for each of our products, clearly labeling ingredients and potential allergens. I am trained in safe handling practices, using dedicated tools and equipment to prevent cross-contamination. We strive to create a safe environment for those with food allergies, allowing everyone to enjoy our delicious cookies with peace of mind.

level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety

The Qualification of Level 2 in Food Hygiene & Safety for Catering is essential for anyone working in the Cookie Bakery industry, ensuring that they meet the stringent UK/EU requirements for food hygiene and safety. This fully qualified certification, issued on 27/10/23 and valid until 26/10/2026, equips Cookie Couture with the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain high standards of food safety, preventing contamination and ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers. Adhering to these guidelines is crucial for the success and reputation of our bakery.
